This gave lots of great tips. Like crushing your onions to get more out of it. I thought that the fake turkey was cool. The fact that you can put some sauce on it and make it look like meat is amazing.
I thought this was very informative. The fact that letting garlic sit for 10 minutes before cooking it can be healthier is crazy. I thought the turkey being soaked and the process of osmosis is cool. The fake turkey was nasty i thought.
I found it interesting how osmosis can be used in everyday living, shown to hydrate the turkey. I was also amazed how the cellular processes we learn in class can be used to have a benefit in cooking. I am curious as to how the pH levels is the seitan affect the taste and texture of the food.
I never thought that everything we do can be based on the process of osmosis. Nobody ever thinks about all the chemical reactions, or just elements we eat or use on the daily basis, especially on Thanksgiving. I actually never have thought about the literal process of soaking a turkey and all the water going out being through a process that I thought was only needed in biology.

I think this video gave some very good tips on how to prepare Thanksgiving meal. I have some vegetarian friends, who obviously don't ever eat the turkey on Thanksgiving. Now, I might have to help my mom make some fake turkey called sietan for them! Also, I found it really interesting how the video explained how the turkey is soaked and osmosis occurs.
I find it interesting how these simple things can Thanksgiving better. I didn't think all this stuff we learn in class would change how people cook. Now that we this more people will be using these methods and at the same time learning about science.

I thought the video was interesting although I got confused on some of the words. Some of them didn't sound like real words like the ones that talked about flavor molecules in the food. This made me realize that science really is in everything. In conclusion the video was slightly confusing but, educational and funny.
